the_lucky_nun got sick. Then I got sick.

I missed work yesterday because I had a fever. Now I have a throat that feels like it's closing shut, and it's like I'm breathing with a weight on my chest. Have I also mentioned this means I've missed two days of work? What was going to be a badass check is now merely adequate.

When eating a bagel, stop when it seems as if part of it is a little doughy and undercooked. It is, in fact, not fully baked. Eating it will stop the wooziness from your low blood sugar, but you will regret it for the better part of the afternoon. Aside from a trip to the grocery store, I've not left the house all day. For that matter, I haven't really left the couch all day. I can't eat solid food, and I've pretty much been subsisting on green tea and juice. I am going to bed to watch Supernatural episodes.

Ugh. This is unpleasant.

Usually, I lay myself down to take a nap and wake up feeling a little bit better. I've never woken up and felt like I wanted to die. Perhaps a horseradish cheese and muenster grilled sandwich wasn't the best idea I could have had for lunch.

Seriously, I feel like I'm going to hemorrhage.
